DESCRIPTION
This course provides an overview of the Resident Rights for elderly residents living in an assisted living facility.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Explain the importance of the Resident Rights in providing each resident with quality care and a quality living experience
- List and explain at least 5 universal resident rights, citing examples of compliance and non-compliance
- Discuss these Rights with a resident’s family and friends as necessary, as well as other Direct Care Staff, and immediately report any non-compliance issues.
Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for Certified Nursing Assistants in Florida.
Course Details
Learners must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
