Description
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to: define implicit bias and the differences between implicit and explicit bias; distinguish the difference between System 1 and System 2 thinking; evaluate the origin of implicit bias, historically and within oneself; analyze stereotypes, stigmas, and implicit biases in healthcare; and discuss some measurement tools in evaluating implicit biases in healthcare.
Course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours to Certified Nursing Assistants in Florida.
Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
