Description
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Define Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
- Differentiate between SIDS and Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID).
- Identify the incidence of SIDS.
- List the preventative measures against SIDS.
- Identify one organization completing research on SIDS and the types of research being conducted.
- Discuss points of safe sleep and SIDS prevention education for parents and caregivers.
Approved for 3.5 CE/Contact Hour for Florida Certified Nursing Assistants. Participants must pass the final quiz with 80% or more and may re-take the quiz as often as needed.
