Description
This course provides an advanced overview of Alzheimer’s and strategies to help families cope with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Learners will will be able to: list three barriers to getting a diagnosis; identify at least three strategies professionals can use to help families cope with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis; and discuss the importance of connecting families to Alzheimer’s specific supportive and educational programs and services.
This course is intended to contribute to caregiver and staff training in the area of Dementia. Learners must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
