Medical Error Reporting and Disclosure – 2.0 CE/Contact Hours

By the end of this course, the learner will be able to: Identify legislative trends in medical error reporting requirements. Identify the relationship between federal and state error reporting laws. Discuss the legal implications of mandatory medical error reporting. Recite three or more publicly reported quality measures. Define the relationship between error reporting, quality measures, and healthcare reimbursement. Recall trends, methods, and outcomes of full medical error disclosure. Course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Florida. Learners must pass the final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2023.
