Medication Management: Laws and Regulations – 1.0 CE/Contact Hour

Description

By the end of this course learners will be able to: 1) describe the difference between assisting with medications and administering medications, 2) identify the restrictions for managing medications in an RCFE, 3) list at least 3 compliance requirements for managing medications in an RCFE, and 4) understand the training requirements for RCFE staff to qualify to assist residents with medication management. Course is approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hourfor Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in California. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2023.
