By the end of this course, learners will be able to: define trauma and trauma-informed care; recognize a trauma survivor using behavioral indicators; examine different trauma assessment tools; describe aspects of cultural competence in trauma-informed care; and identify the professional standards in trauma-informed care. Approved for 1.0 CEU/contact hour for California RCFE Administrators and California Nurses (CA BRN). Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2023.
