By the end of this course, the learner will be able to: Define implicit bias and the differences between implicit and explicit bias. Distinguish the difference between System 1 and System 2 thinking. Evaluate the origin of implicit bias, historically and within oneself. Analyze stereotypes and stigmas, and implicit biases in healthcare. Discuss some measurement tools in evaluating implicit biases in healthcare.

• Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)

Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. The course will be updated or discontinued on or before March 31, 2024.
