Alzheimer’s Los Angeles and CareerSmart have partnered to bring you up-to-date online training courses that emphasize best practices in dementia case management and care coordination.

These training courses can be taken as stand-alone modules or as a series, and include the following Alzheimer’s and dementia topics:

• Fundamentals of Alzheimer’s Disease for Healthcare Professionals
• Strategies for Managing Behavioral Symptoms of Dementia
• Caring for Family Caregivers

Developed by subject matter experts at Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles, these courses are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals such as nurses (RN, LVN, LPN), social workers (LCSW), case managers (CCM), and other allied healthcare professionals, including non-clinical staff and healthcare administrators.

Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles is a joint provider of the continuing education courses offered by CareerSmart.  Continuing education contact hours for nurses and California-licensed social workers are offered through the course catalog listed below.
