Description
This course is offered jointly with Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles as the joint provider. Objectives of this course include:
- Identify the unique care needs associated with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias
- Describe the importance of identifying family members who are involved in care
- Describe the importance of assessing the needs of families and engaging family members in care planning
- Identify appropriate community-based resources and supports available to families.
Approved for 1.0 CE/Contact Hour for Nurses (all states), Certified Case Managers (CCM), Certified Rehab Counselors (CRC), and Social Workers (NASW). Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before March 31, 2024.
