Impact of Obesity on Workers’ Compensation Claims – 2.0 CE/Contact Hours

Description

Course objectives include: identify non-industrial medical conditions related to obesity (that impact claims); explain various complications to work-related injuries; identify the specialized equipment and other needs that increase the cost of claims; and identify alternative methods to reduce injuries for obese individuals.

Course is approved for 2.0 CE/Contact Hours to the following professions:

• Nurses (RN, LVN, LPN) (all states)
• Certified Case Managers (CCM)
• Certified Rehab Counselors (CRC)
• CA Workers’ Comp Claims Adjusters

Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed. Course will be updated or discontinued on or before July 31, 2027.
